Why your WiFi is slow or dropping out
Most WiFi problems in Kent homes are not a broadband fault. The usual causes are a single router stuck in a hallway or cupboard trying to cover the whole property, thick walls and chimney breasts blocking the signal, or older equipment supplied free with a broadband package that simply cannot cover a modern family home.
Newer homes with foil-backed insulation, dot-and-dab walls and Victorian properties with solid brick interior walls are all common culprits. A site survey confirms exactly where the signal is dropping off and what level of coverage is realistic.
